Moves Draco Meteor and Hurricane are two powerful STAB moves with great coverage, being resisted only by Steel-types. Heat Wave hits Steel-types super effectively, giving Noibat perfect coverage that hits every Pokemon in Little Cup neutrally or super effectively. Tailwind provides good support for Noibat's teammates by doubling their Speed for the following three turns. Set Details 236 EVs are invested into Speed in order for Timid Noibat to reach 16 Speed. 236 EVs are put into Special Attack in order to maximize the damage Noibat can deal. Life Orb increases the power of its moves as well. Infiltrator lets Noibat hit through Substitutes. Noibat runs a 9 HP IV in order to minimize the HP lost to Life Orb recoil. Usage Tips Noibat can't switch into attacks properly because of its poor bulk, so you should aim to send it out when a Pokemon on your team has just been KOed by a foe slower than Noibat in order to revenge kill it. Then, just deal as much damage as possible, and use Tailwind when Noibat forces a switch or is about to be KOed and there are faster threats in the opposing team that your team needs to outspeed in order to KO. Team Options Noibat appreciates entry hazard support in order to punish switches and pressure the opposing team. Drilbur is particularly good for this role because it also offers Rapid Spin support, which allows Noibat to switch in without taking Stealth Rock damage. Ferroseed can help as well by setting both Stealth Rock and Spikes, but it can't remove entry hazards. Pawniard has good synergy with Noibat, being able to threaten Spritzee and take advantage of Tailwind, especially if using a Life Orb set, while Noibat can deal with Fighting-types Pawniard struggles with. Skrelp is also a nice option, as it can destroy a lot of Pokemon that check Noibat, such as Fairy- and Rock-types, and it greatly enjoys Tailwind support. Other powerful wallbreakers, especially Fighting-types such as Mienfoo, Timburr, and Scraggy, greatly appreciate Tailwind support and deal with Munchlax and Porygon. Gothita can deal with bulky Pokemon that Noibat can't, such as Spritzee, Munchlax, and Porygon.
