This set looks to get Z-Tailwind off, which allows Pidove to always get a critical hit on its foes and boosts the speed of Pidove's team. Despite this, its low base stats and weak movepool truly limit how much Pidove can take advantage of the critical hit bonus. There are more well-rounded Flying type Pokemon in Little Cup that can accomplish more with less; Vullaby is more versatile and sports better stats, while Doduo provides more upfront power without having to take a turn to set up.
