If a teammate has been weakened by Pawniard, Alolan Geodude can be sent in to trap and revenge kill it. Alolan Geodude can only set Stealth Rock up against Pawniard if it comes in unscathed and against Ferroseed if it doesn't take a Knock Off. It is important for Alolan Geodude to stay healthy throughout the match if it has to trap anything. Moreover, it must be careful with Diglett on opposing teams and should not come into pivoting moves such as U-turn to avoid getting trapped.
