Magnet and Life Orb further increase Regieleki's incredible offense; Magnet lets a teammate such as Landorus-T, Dragapult, or Venusaur run Life Orb, but Life Orb is otherwise superior. Focus Sash is an especially useful item given Regieleki's frailty and makes it a great check to the combination of Tornadus and Kyogre. Regieleki's many positive qualities and strong synergy with other top-tier Pokemon allow it to fit on a wide variety of teams. Incineroar can threaten Grass-types such as Venusaur and Rillaboom, while Regieleki can thwart Water-types like Blastoise and Kyogre. Water-types are also strong teammates, able to check Ground-types like Landorus-T and Groudon for Regieleki. Zacian-C greatly benefits from Regieleki's Electroweb and ability to keep Water-types and Charizard in check. Landorus-T and Groudon appreciate Regieleki's speed control and Water-type checking, and Landorus-T can check Grass-types for Regieleki.

The boosts from its ability, its held item, and Electric Terrain allow Regieleki to hit like a truck with Rising Voltage, OHKOing neutral targets and 2HKOing bulky Electric-resistant Pokemon like Kyurem and Ferrothorn. Tapu Koko is a crucial teammate, as it provides Regieleki with Electric Terrain, which further boosts the power of its moves—especially Rising Voltage. Tapu Koko can also deal with Dragon- and Dark-type Pokemon for Regieleki such as Garchomp and Hydreigon as well as Ground-type Pokemon such as Hippowdon and Gastrodon with Grass Knot. Teammates like Zeraora and Alolan Raichu greatly benefit from Regieleki's wallbreaking capabilities, as it's able to blow past Pokemon that check those two such as defensive Zapdos, Amoonguss, Ferrothorn, Blissey, and specially defensive Drapion. In return, Zeraora provides Knock Off support and can use its Choice Band set to form a wallbreaking core with Regieleki. Alolan Raichu, on the other hand, can capitalize on Regieleki's wallbreaking ability to clean teams late-game and take care of Ground-type Pokemon like Gastrodon, Swampert, and Hippowdon with Grass Knot, which Regieleki dislikes facing. The offensive investment with a Modest nature maximizes Regieleki's damage output while still outrunning Choice Scarf users, such as Genesect, Urshifu-R, and Galarian Zapdos. The Defense and HP investment let it survive Rillaboom's Grassy Glide. An alternative spread of 4 HP / 44 Def / 244 SpA / 216 Spe with a Timid nature can be used to let Regieleki outrun Modest Kingdra under rain.

Regieleki’s access to Electroweb and amazing base 200 Speed make it one of 2v2 Doubles's premier means of speed control. Electroweb is especially devastating in 2v2 Doubles because the changes in Speed take effect immediately, as opposed to at the end of the turn. Regieleki is often paired with teammates that benefit from the excellent speed control it provides, such as Genesect, Pheromosa, and Regidrago. Regieleki's teammates will also cover for common Pokemon that resist or are immune to its Electric-type attacks, such as Naganadel, Zygarde, and Landorus-T. Choice Scarf Regieleki struggles against the Ground- and Dragon-types of the tier, most notably Kyurem-B, Landorus-T, Zygarde, and Naganadel. Regieleki primarily fits on hyper offense teams, as they greatly appreciate its Rapid Spin support, and its fantastic Speed tier prevents fast threats such as Choice Scarf Kyogre, Zacian-C, and Calyrex-S from wrecking the team. Regieleki particularly struggles against entry hazard setters like Necrozma-DM and Ferrothorn, as their Rocky Helmet and Iron Barbs, respectively, can wear it down, while Wild Charge cannot deal too much damage against them. Its mediocre bulk leaves it very susceptible to their moves in return. Teammates that can pressure these foes such as Life Orb Yveltal, Calyrex-S, and Groudon are thus appreciated. Regieleki struggles against Electric-resistant Pokemon such as Groudon, Zekrom, and Zygarde-C, only having Explosion to meaningfully hit them. Teammates that can enter after Explosion and deal with them such as Xerneas, Calyrex-S, and Life Orb Yveltal are beneficial.

Explosion can surprise and cripple foes like Ferrothorn, Swampert, and Volt Absorb Corviknight and allow a teammate to come in freely afterwards. Rapid Spin supports its teammates with entry hazard removal, especially with Refrigerate to prevent spinblocking attempts from the likes of Dhelmise and Doublade. Never-Melt Ice can be used instead of Life Orb to boost Regieleki's Ice coverage without taking recoil. The Speed EVs let Regieleki outspeed +1 base 100 Speed Pokemon like Mew, Volcarona, and Jirachi. Refrigerate Regieleki fits in hyper and bulky offense teams by providing them with valuable offensive utility. It provides insurance for the team by reliably outspeeding and threatening fast threats like Barraskewda, Azelf, and Cinderace that would otherwise overwhelm its teammates prior to boosting. Teammates weak to entry hazards like Focus Sash Polteageist, Choice Band Cinderace, and Aerilate Salamence appreciate Regieleki's Rapid Spin support. Cinderace, in particular, can help pressure Regieleki's Steel-type checks in Heatran, Ferrothorn, and RegenVest Jirachi as well as forgo Court Change in favor of another attacking move. Due to Regieleki's inability to threaten Swampert outside of KOing itself with Explosion, teammates like Zarude and Dhelmise are necessary to pressure it. Without having to rely on Defog, hazard-stacking leads like Skarmory and Mew can freely set up Stealth Rock and Spikes, with Regieleki also threatening common Defoggers like Corviknight, Mandibuzz, and Tapu Fini. Barraskewda forms a fast and potent VoltTurn core with Regieleki by bringing it in safely on its bulky Water-type switch-ins like Slowbro and Tapu Fini. Wallbreakers like Galarian Zapdos and Terrakion also appreciate Regieleki's Volt Switch to bring them in on foes like Heatran and Blissey.

Volt switch is an alternative support option to pivot Regieleki's teammates safely into the field without KOing itself, potentially to set up dual screens again later. Prankster might seem redundant, but it usually guarantees both screens are set against priority users like Grassy Surge Zarude and Dhelmise. The Speed EVs let Regieleki outspeed Choice Scarf Azelf; if forgoing Explosion, maximum HP investment is also an option. Regieleki fits exclusively on hyper offense teams that appreciate it reliably setting up dual screens and removing entry hazards. Setup sweepers like Kommo-o, Galarian Moltres, Volcarona, Polteageist, and Dhelmise love Regieleki's dual screens to set up easier. Rapid Spin also significantly helps Polteageist, Volcarona, and Galarian Moltres, preserving the former's Focus Sash and alleviating the latter two's Stealth Rock weakness to opt for more offensive items or abilities such as Sheer Force + Life Orb and Weakness Policy, respectively. Items Choice Specs makes Regieleki a powerful late-game cleaner without much hassle to use. Life Orb makes Regieleki more suited towards Dynamax sweeping, Magnet is a viable alternative if a different Pokemon is holding Life Orb. EV Spreads 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe with Modest: This EV spread allows Regieleki to outspeed up to +1 Base 100 Speed Pokemon such as Salamence, prevents Porygon2 from getting a Special Attack boost from Download, and maximizes Regieleki's Special Attack. 148 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 100 Spe with Timid: This spread allows Regieleki to outspeed up to +1 Speed Nihilego.
