Toxapex can switch into Grass-type moves such as Power Whip from Zarude reliably, stops setup sweepers such as Dragonite and Dragapult with Haze, and deals with Tapu Bulu and Tapu Fini with Poison Jab. Tapu Fini provides Misty Terrain for its teammates, which helps them deal with the aforementioned Dragon-type sweepers, and Calm Mind Tapu Fini can use chip damage from Golisopod's Spikes and Swampert's Stealth Rock to sweep easily. Volcanion can also be used to deal with Grass- and Steel-type Pokemon such as Ferrothorn and Aegislash, which are troublesome defensive Pokemon for Water teams to handle.
