Análisis

Beheeyem acts as a defensive sweeper with Nasty Plot, able to stomach powerful hits, sit on passive walls thanks to Recover, and retaliate back with powerful Analytic-boosted STAB Psychic. Thunderbolt hits common Psychic-resistant or immune foes such as Klinklang, Galarian Rapidash, and Skuntank for neutral damage while also dealing significant damage to Articuno, one of the most common special walls. Colbur Berry lets it handle Fighting-types with Knock Off like Sawk and Gurdurr and prevent Dark-types like Skuntank and Silvally-Dark from forcing it out with their super effective STAB moves. This set works best on balance teams looking for a stallbreaker. Beheeyem works best when paired with an additional physical wall such as Tangela or Miltank to assist it versus strong physical attackers like Silvally-Dark, Thwackey, and Rhydon. Throh and Stunfisk make also for great partners, both being able to answer Rotom and Skuntank, which force out Beheeyem. Clerics like Miltank, Clefairy, and Articuno also make for great partners, taking care of Beheeyem's weakness to Toxic from passive walls such as Miltank and Stunfisk. Physical wallbreakers like the Silvally formes, Qwilfish, and Perrserker make for great partners that can take advantage of the special walls that Beheeyem forces in. Fast but weak attackers like Rapidash, Alolan Dugtrio, and Throat Spray Accelgor appreciate Beheeyem weakening opposing walls into their KO ranges.

Análisis

Beheeyem acts as a defensive pivot that is able to use Future Sight and then pivot out into a partner with Teleport. Recover gives it sustainability, letting it switch reliably and constantly into walls and weaker attackers such as Tangela, Miltank, and Gurdurr. Thunderbolt is Beheeyem's best coverage option against Dark-types like Skuntank and Thievul; it also allows it to directly threaten foes like Qwilfish and Klinklang. Colbur Berry lets it take on Fighting-types like Sawk and Gurdurr which would hit it super effectively with Knock Off while also letting it pivot out against strong Dark-types like Shiftry and Silvally-Dark. Synchronize punishes Toxic users such as Miltank and Stunfisk that would try to beat Beheeyem. Beheeyem works best on balance teams with physical wallbreakers like Silvally-Dark, Lycanroc-N, and Sawk. Thanks to Future Sight, physical attackers can break through their checks like Palossand, Tangela, and Qwilfish, making it almost impossible to wall them. Beheeyem, however, is not a great wall, so it needs to be supported with other defensive Pokemon like Tangela, Altaria, Articuno, and Stunfisk that can wall powerful attackers such as the Silvally formes, Exeggutor, and Rotom that easily break through Beheeyem. Having a cleric such as Miltank or Alcremie is particularly important to reset Synchronize. Dark-type checks such as Throh, Skuntank, and Clefairy are also appreciated, because Colbur Berry isn't enough to mitigate Beheeyem's glaring weakness to them.

Análisis

Thanks to Beheeyem's sky-high Special Attack stat, terrible Speed stat, and access to Trick Room, it is a staple on said archetype. Meteor Beam OHKOes Pokemon that can switch into Psychic like Alolan Persian, Skuntank, and Thievul, OHKOes specially defensive Pokemon like Articuno and Coalossal, and boosts its Special Attack stat without wasting a Trick Room turn on setup when used with Power Herb. Thunderbolt OHKOes Cramorant while 2HKOing Articuno at +1. It is also Beheeyem's strongest spammable option against Dark- and Steel-types. Analytic takes advantage of how well Beheeyem forces switches, and it exploits Beeheeyem's very low Speed in the rare instances it attacks outside of Trick Room. Due to Beheeyem's awful Speed, poor defensive typing, and merely decent bulk, it should mainly be used on dedicated Trick Room teams, as otherwise other Psychic-types and special wallbreakers outclass it. Other Trick Room setters, like Gourgeist-XL, Uxie, and Trevenant, can provide more chances for Beheeyem to attack without needing to set up Trick Room first, and teammates that lack Trick Room especially appreciate these chances. These teammates include Bouffalant, Flame Orb Throh, and Rhydon, which benefit from Beheeyem's wallbreaking and Trick Room, enabling them to more easily break holes against the opposition or clean late-game.
